Thanks for all the great lists so far. :)

Agree that the quality of this year releases couldn't match with any of the previous years, especially 1982. Therefore we also included some pop.

By teh en dof 82 Nwe wave was at top, the start of the decline of new wave started in late 83 but although there some of my favoite labums of all times (hope you'll catch the abrevations, otherwise FB me ...)

TFF : th > mad world is one of my favoite songs of all times
Wham : F although it's far from what can be considered new wave, but it was a very good lp and one of my top 5 of the year
Indochine : lpj happy to see a digne frenc represantant :-)

I have bought them all in 1983, as well as many other in the list (at leat 40%), but i have really selected my best between the best

In 1983 i did't knew well cocteau twins that i discovered long time after but it deserves to be in the top of the list
